What to Expect from Your Photography Adventure

The Danube Delta is home to an extraordinary variety of wildlife, including rare species such as the White-tailed Eagle, Dalmatian and Great White Pelicans, Herons, Egrets, and countless other birds and animals. Over four incredible days, you’ll navigate the Delta’s labyrinth of waterways and reed beds, taking part in two photography sessions per day—one from a moving boat, and another while stationary, waiting for the perfect shot in prime locations.

This is not a sightseeing tour—it’s a photography-focused expedition designed for those who want to fully immerse themselves in the Delta’s untamed beauty. You’ll spend your time tracking wildlife, composing the perfect shots, and capturing the Delta’s stunning landscapes. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Evening Photography

  • Arrival in Maliuc Village: Pick-up from Tulcea, followed by a scenic boat transfer to Maliuc Village.

  • Evening Photography: After settling in, we’ll head out for our first photo session, capturing the stunning wildlife at golden hour.

  • Overnight: Comfortable, local accommodation in Maliuc with an authentic atmosphere.

Day 2: Full Day of Photography in the Delta

  • Morning Session: Early boat ride at sunrise to photograph the Delta’s birdlife.

  • Midday Break: Return to the guesthouse for lunch and a short rest.

  • Afternoon Session: Another boat excursion to capture more wildlife in the best lighting conditions.

  • Evening: Dinner and overnight in Maliuc.

Day 3: More Photography & Exploration

  • Morning Session: Head out at sunrise for a wildlife photography excursion.

  • Midday Break: Lunch and relaxation back at the guesthouse.

  • Afternoon Session: Explore different areas of the Delta for unique shots of bird flocks and animals.

  • Evening: Enjoy dinner and another peaceful night in Maliuc.

Day 4: Final Morning & Departure

  • Morning Session: A final early-morning boat ride to capture those last magical moments of the Delta.

  • Departure: After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Tulcea for your onward journey.
